  1. Eat a well-balanced diet, be physically active, and get enough sleep each night
  2. Apart from health of mind, health of the body should also be taken into consideration. Try to eat regular, balanced meals and to avoid eating “junk” or “fast” food
  3. Be physically active
  4. Any activity that gets you moving can be helpful. Like:

    (i)  Take the stairs instead of the elevator

    (ii) Get off the bus 1 or 2 stops early and walk the rest of the way

    (iii) Park your car at the far end of the parking lot and walk to the store

    (iv) Stand up and walk around while talking on the phone

    (v) Walk in place for a few minutes while watching TV

  5. Stay on a sleep schedule
  6. Following a regular daily schedule can also give important structure to your life.
  7. Take time to relax. Relaxing may help you manage stress.
